About
Sylvia is a musician at heart, with a rich background in vocal performance and musical theatre. She is a member of Wishful Singing, a program dedicated to helping COVID-19 patients regain control over their voice and breathing.
Sylvia’s extensive experience includes working with esteemed houses such as the Dutch National Opera, where her talents contributed to significant productions, as well as roles in productions by Muziektheater Transparant and Holland Opera. She has also collaborated with leading groups like Silbersee, NJON Muziekzomer, and Het Nederlands Kamerkoor, where she has served both as a creator and performer.
In addition to her work with established companies, Sylvia founded Pagan Poetry, a vocal art group that allows her to further explore her creative vision. For Pagan Poetry, she writes her own texts and composes original music, crafting performances that resonate with her unique artistic voice.
After completing her Master’s in Classical Music Theatre at Fontys University of Fine Arts in 2019, Sylvia has continued to shape her career in music and theatre. She has also ventured into literary arts, publishing her first book, Frutsels, in 2024.
Sylvia and her older brother Michaël founded the musical duo 'Lily-Rose Music' who perform private concerts and are the perfect match any ceremony and gathering. Find more information and contact for bookings.
